Apostles's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ,

His only Son, our Lord,

Who was conceived by the

Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell,

the third day He arose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at
the right hand of God the Father
almighty, from thence He shall come
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body
and life everlasting.
Amen.

Symbolum Apostolicum

Credo in Deum, Patrem omnipoténtem,

Creatorem cæli et terræ.

Et in Jesum Christum,

Filium ejus unicum, Dominum nostrum,

qui concéptus est de

Spíritu Sancto;

natus ex Maria Virgine;

passus sub Póntio Piláto,

crucifixus, mórtuus, et sepúltus,

descéndit ad ínferos;

tértia die resurréxit a mórtuis:

ascéndit ad cælos,

sedet ad déxteram Dei Patris omnipoténtis,:

inde ventúrus est

judicáre vivos et mórtuos.

Credo in Spíritum Sanctum,

Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and of all that is, seen and unseen.

And in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,

Born of  the Father before all ages.
God of God, Light of Light,
true God of true God.
Begotten, not made,
of one substance with the Father.
By Whom all things were made.

Who for us men and for our salvation
 came down from heaven.

And He became flesh by the
 Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary and was made man.

 He was also crucified for us,

suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried.

And on the third day He rose again
according to the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead.
And of His kingdom there will be no end.

And I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the Lord and Giver of life,

Who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

Who together with the Father and the Son
is adored and glorified;
and Who spoke through the Prophets.

And one, holy, Catholic,
and Apostolic Church.

I confess one Baptism
for the forgiveness of sins.
And I await the resurrection of the dead.
And the life of the world to come.

Amen.

Under Your Protection

We fly to thy protection,
O holy Mother of God.
Despise not our petitions
in our necessities,
but deliver us always
from all dangers
O glorious and blessed Virgin.

An ancient prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the “Sub Tuum Praesidium”, is the oldest known prayer to Our Lady asking her intercession, older than even the Hail Mary itself. The hymn has long been chanted in both the Western and Eastern Churches. But the antiquity of this prayer is attributed to discoveries of a 3rd Egyptian Papyrus, a small scrap of papyrus with brown ink, dated between the years 250 AD-280 AD.

Sub Tuum Præsidium

Sub tuum præsídium confúgimus,
sancta Dei Génetrix;
nostras deprecatiónes ne despícias
in necessitátibus;
sed a perículis cunctis
líbera nos semper,
Virgo gloriósa et benedícta.

The Magnificat

1. My soul doth magnify the Lord
;

2. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.

3.  Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid, for behold from
henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

4. For He that is mighty hath done great things to me, and Holy is His name.

5. And His mercy is from generation to generations, to them that fear Him,

6. He hath showed might in His arm:

He hath scattered the proud in the conceit  of their heart:

7. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble.

8. He hath filled the hungry with good things: and the rich he hath sent away empty.

9. He hath received Israel His servant, being mindful of his mercy.

10. As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Amen.

The Te Deum is  the music in the above video of the Miracle of Lanciano .

The Miracle of Lanciano is officially recognized by the Catholic Church as a true Eucharistic Miracle. It was the first and greatest Eucharistic Miracle of the Catholic Church.

This wondrous Event took place in the 8th century A.D. in the little Church of St. Legontian in Lanciano, Italy, as a divine response to a Basilian monk's doubt about Jesus' Real Presence in the Eucharist.

During Holy Mass, after the two-fold consecration, the host was changed into Heart Tissue Flesh and the Wine was changed into Actual Blood, which coagulated into five globules, irregular and differing in shape and size.

For ever and ever.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help,
or sought thy intercession,
was left forsaken.
Inspired with this confidence
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph

GUARDIAN of virgins and father, Saint Joseph,

to whose faithful custody Innocence itself,

Christ Jesus, and Mary, Virgin of virgins,

was committed;

I pray and beseech thee by each of these dear pledges, Jesus and Mary, that, being preserved from all uncleanness,

I may with spotless mind, pure heart, and a chaste body, ever serve Jesus and Mary most chastely all the days of my life.

Amen.

Oratio ad Sanctum Joseph

VIRGINUM custos et pater, sancte Joseph,

cuius fideli custodiae ipsa Innocentia

Christus Jesus et Virgo virginum Maria

commissa fuit;

te per hoc utrumque carissimum pignus Jesum et Mariam obsecro et obtestor, ut me, ab omni immunditia praeservatum, mente incontaminata,

puro corde et casto corpore Iesu et Mariae semper facias castissime famulari.

Amen.

Prayer concluding the Rosary

Hail, Holy Queen,

Mother of Mercy,
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry,

poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears!

Turn, then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb,

Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.

O God, whose only-begotten Son,
by his life, death and resurrection,
has purchased for us
the rewards of eternal life,
grant, we beseech thee,
that meditating on these mysteries
of the most holy Rosary of the
Blessed Virgin Mary,
we may imitate what they contain
and obtain what they promise,
through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
